Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley (MILV), the largest independent private practice group in Pennsylvania seeking a fellowship trained BC/BE Cardiothoracic radiologist to join our team of 125 radiologists. Performing over 1.25 million radiology exams per year state-of-the-art equipment at 14 campuses and multiple outpatient centers within Lehigh Valley Health Network which has a Level I trauma center, Cancer Center of Excellence, busy pulmonary and CT surgery services including robotic surgery, endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy. The position is based at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a part of Jefferson Health, Allentown campus. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of sub-specialty care to all our patients. This is a full-time position requiring onsite coverage at our Allentown campus with partnership opportunity for the suitable candidate. Hybrid track would be an employment or independent contractor position with onsite and remote reading assignments.
Reporting responsibilities include all aspects of cardiothoracic imaging (chest CT, CXR, cardiac CT and MRI) with the remainder of the time in body imaging and general radiology. We have an active cardiac imaging and lung cancer screening program and work closely with our colleagues in pulmonology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiology. We have experienced substantial growth in our Cardiac MRI, Coronary CTA and TAVR studies. and started our region's first Cardiac PET service in July 2022. The group has an outstanding reputation and performs over 1.2 million radiology exams per year. We have state of the art equipment at the 11 campuses and multiple outpatient centers of LVHN, which has a Level I trauma center, Cancer Center of Excellence, busy pulmonary and CT surgery services including robotic surgery, endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy. We use universal Phillips PACS, Powerscribe 360, StatDx, with a dedicated 3D lab for post-processing & AI products such as Rad AI Omni and several AiDoc algorithms to aid diagnosis, prioritize reads, increase efficiency, and reduce burnout.
